Their Starting Point
This client came to us as a high-profile psychologist, scientist, and global thought leader operating both her personal brand and her nonprofit organization. Her work spans mental health advocacy, research, media appearances, public speaking, and executive leadership, placing her at the intersection of healthcare, nonprofit leadership, and media.
At the time, she was managing an exceptionally demanding schedule that included frequent national travel, high-volume email communication, media coordination, and complex event logistics. With travel occurring two to three weeks out of each month, along with ongoing interviews, public appearances, and organizational responsibilities, she needed a highly structured, proactive support system capable of operating at an executive and celebrity level.
Our Approach
We provided comprehensive executive and operational support across both her personal brand and nonprofit organization. This included managing her email and calendar, triaging high-priority communications, owning all meeting requests, and coordinating complex schedules involving media, speaking engagements, and organizational leadership.
Our team supported extensive travel logistics, creating detailed travel books and coordinating flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and event schedules. We also managed scheduling for hair, makeup, and preparation surrounding media appearances and live events.
The client regularly engages with high-profile individuals and organizations, including appearances and collaborations connected to platforms and personalities such as Charlamagne tha God, Kim Whitley, Tisha Campbell, Carson Daly, as well as major media platforms such as The Breakfast Club and Red Table Talk. Our role was to manage and protect her time, ensuring opportunities were properly evaluated, scheduled, and supported.
Operationally, we supported invoice processing, expense reporting, compliance updates, dispute resolution, document management, and special projects, including brand assets, annual reports, media kits, and book coordination.
To support the scale of her work, MVR assigned two full-time virtual assistants who worked collaboratively to support her entire organization. While the client maintained a small internal team of three to four staff members, our two dedicated VAs handled the majority of executive, administrative, and operational responsibilities, ensuring continuity, reliability, and high-level execution across all areas.
Where They Are Today
The client now operates with a fully supported executive infrastructure that matches the scale and visibility of her work. With her schedule, communications, travel, and operations handled by a dedicated support team, she experiences fewer distractions, reduced decision fatigue, and greater capacity to focus on leadership, impact, and global influence, without being pulled into day-to-day logistics.
